In this world, there are things people don't know even though they are under their noses. I like to search for the things not a lot of people know about because I find it interesting that even if it's as common as the material made from "Quercus Suber", not everyone recognizes its name.
It can be anything I find interesting to search for. It's incredible to experience a new perspective and learn from them. When people watch it, they will say, "I didn't know this was a thing" or "I haven't looked at it that way." Looking at their expressions satisfies my creativity.
Using film, installation, illustration, and so on, I create my work and share it while teaching others. It doesn't have to be relatable or change your point of view, as long as the idea is to visualize and see the new perspective that every individual hasn't noticed even existed before.

Mi Proposito Nobo
Imagine embarking on a captivating documentary that uncovers the profound stories of Aruban students as they navigate a new chapter in their lives. Welcome to "Mi Proposito Nobo," an extraordinary film project that delves into the transformative journey of Aruban students studying in the Netherlands.
As I'm working on my final exam before graduation, I have chosen to create a documentary that sheds light on the remarkable experiences of Aruban students adapting to a foreign country. While immersed in the Netherlands' academic landscape, I noticed a significant gap in understanding between Dutch locals and Aruban students, despite Aruba's status as part of the Netherlands. In "Mi Proposito Nobo," we aim to bridge this gap by capturing the unique challenges, triumphs, and personal growth of Aruban students. Our documentary will explore the struggles of travel, the exhilaration of discovery, and the quest for suitable housing. Through authentic storytelling and intimate interviews, we will provide viewers with a genuine glimpse into the daily lives of these courageous students. From managing the intricacies of a new culture to overcoming language barriers, "Mi Proposito Nobo" will highlight the resilience and determination that propels Aruban students forward.
